Over the years, Halloween costumes have become one of my things as a mom. I’m not much into assembling Pinterest activities and I’ve quit throwing
lavish any birthday parties because they stress me out.
But man, I LOVE COSTUMES.
Here’s the history of Rotenberg Costumes. In 2012, we had a baby owl in a tree. In 2013, Super E saved the day with his undies on the outside. And in 2014, the tortoise and the hare came to life.
This year, there was no way to sidestep our current obsession: Cars. “Ka-Chow” and “May-May” better known as Lightning McQueen and Mater came to life using some cardboard boxes, a ton of hot glue, paper, scissors, spray paint, some bent paper plates, and a simply lemonade lid. Below is the entire set of photos I took one fall evening when the boys got to play with their costumes for the first time.
But before I send you off to check them out, I’m giving away our last prize courtesy of the generous folks at Peaceable Kingdom. A copy of Hoot Owl Hoot!, an award-winning cooperative game for kids will be given to one lucky fan (as determined by my secret guest judge).
Just Instagram a photo of your kiddos all dressed up and use the hashtag #jrphalloweengiveaway by November 2, 2015 at midnight.
P.S. A few I’m just purchasing using affiliate link income. This page also contains affiliate links and if you chose to use them, bravo to you for helping me make these giveaways possible!
