This session is a bit bittersweet to me. It was photographed at sunrise at the effortlessly beautiful NC Museum of Art. The white buildings act as reflectors of soft light and kids can run around, while still saying safe and away from any cars. Unfortunately, the museum has changed their photography rules and it’s far more expensive to shoot there–prohibitively so. I appreciate the time I was able to work there and completely understand and support their reasons for needing to make a change. After all, it was too good to be true.

Selfishly though. Crap, crap, crap. Now what? Looks like I’m on a new favorite location hunt!

P.S. I included one of my favorite outtakes of them all at the end of the post. A little reminiscent of a “Sibling American Gothic” isn’t it?
